Meet a Red Crosser who can connect you to our mission, with a smile!

Story by John C. Pace IV, Orange County Communications Volunteer

Jana Priest began her career as an Donor Development Officer with the Red Cross by using her background in sales to promote the Red Cross’ mission by connecting with both individual and corporate donors. Using her skill set from her previous career, she has witnessed countless moments of human generosity in the face of adversity. Since she loves to help people, this is her dream job to be able to be an advocate for the Red Cross mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering.

She also worked with Yamaha to procure numerous generators for communities affected by unexpected disasters.

“I love knowing that what we do here helps people here in our local area and those who are suffering throughout the country,” said Priest. “We have so many ways for our donors to connect to our mission and I enjoy bringing those opportunities to light.”

Whether through participating in telethons, fundraising efforts, preventative community outreach, or responding to disasters; Jana continues to use her expertise to share our mission and helping those in need.
